Bridespeople
Casey, the Best Man of Honor
Casey and Allison have been friends for approximately forever after meeting in the Japanimation chat on AOL in the early 2000s. They've been through an awkward amount of things together including anime cons, mini-golfing while dressed as royalty from space, perusal of inappropriate adult stores with commentary, et cetera. They've maintained their long-distance friendship after Casey moved to Seattle a few years ago and see each other a couple of times a year, taking turns flying to Seattle or Nashville, Seattle being the place of choice because sushi.
Sarah, the Brainy Bridesmaid
Sarah and Allison met during joint parental torture; that is, they met in Junior Cotillion. They went to school with each other from seventh to twelfth grade, at which time the brilliant Sarah went off to Rice University in Texas while Allison waltzed to Vermont to burn some money at Bennington. They've stayed in contact as Sarah Masters'ed it up at New York University and then made a triumphant return to Texas, settling in Austin while continuing to be Allison's most intelligent friend. One of Allison's hobbies continues to be pestering Sarah to visit her in Tennessee, as she misses her on the regular.
Zola, the Bohemian Bridesmaid
Zola and Allison met the same way that Tyler and Allison met: protesting against Scientology. Allison's first memory of Zola is one from Zola's very first protest, after which she left and drove the wrong way down a one-way street. This is pretty much Zola's life, as she paves her own path. For many months, Zola would drive up from Mississippi to protest before moving to Nashville in May 2010 to live with Allison and Tyler. Shortly after graduating from massage school in Nashville, she made a triumphant return to Mississippi, leaving Allison and Tyler's dog Zoë even more confused than she already is. Just like with Sarah, one of Allison's hobbies is to pester Zola to make more trips to Tennessee so she can embrace her beautiful feminist, strong, compassionate, offbeat confidante.
Maryam, the Candomblé Bridesmaid
Maryam and Allison met the same way that Casey and Allison met: in the sordid world of the infamous Japanimation chat on AOL, bless their hearts. They went to a couple of anime cons together (bless their hearts once again) including one that ended with Allison face-down in a swimming pool with Maryam staring blankly down at her à la Ritsuko and Rei after Ritsuko's death in Evangelion. After getting only slightly more mature, Maryam and Allison have bonded over things such their mutual love of West Africa and their questioning of Kwanzaa as a legit holiday. Allison adores both Maryam's flawless handwriting and, most importantly, her availability when Allison wants to just kinda blindly snort into a phone while sobbing -- always a good thing in a lovely friend.
Brandy, the Doppelgänger Bridesmaid
Brandy and Allison met each other at work at a cancer research institute. They both have strong feelings about the fact that there are more cancers than breast and that the others need more respect. They bridge the gap between departments as best they can by generally being awesome. For them, there's nothing better than a night of sushi and hookah, especially when you get to hang around in the black light room with glow-in-the-dark mouthpieces and copious amounts of tea. Allison has a vast appreciation for the gossiping that is able to be done with someone who knows everyone you do, especially considering that she and Brandy have the same idea of the boundaries of common decency (none).
Bethany, the Sibling Bridesmaid
Bethany has literally known Allison her entire life. Okay, so maybe not the first couple of hours, but the vast majority of her life at least, and that's gotta count for something.
Adam, the Awesome Bridesman
Adam and Allison met in the same place that Sarah and Allison met: Junior Cotillion. They also went to school with each other all through middle school and high school but were pretty bad at keeping in touch with each other for a number of years before reconnecting in April 2012. Although relatively boring to Tyler, Adam and Allison's long, nostalgic conversation over chai teas at a New York City café made them remember why they were fast BFFs all through their younger years and they are now much better at keeping in touch despite being mutually infamously bad at participating in adult-like acts of communication.
Groomspeople
Because Tyler hasn't provided any blurbs about his friends, Allison's gonna wing it from Facebook and personal experience.
Kathleen, the Best Maid
Kathleen and Tyler have been friends since high school.
Kathleen likes makeup and also Allison and Tyler's dogs. She is awesomely talented in makeup and treats her face as a beautiful canvas. She also likes to exercise and stays up very late. She is usually with Tyler's other friend, Jaxley, because they are best ladyfriends.

Cole, Groomsman
Cole and Tyler have been friends since high school.
Cole lives in Philadelphia, which is cool because they have a train station. He is a very tall, erudite ginger who has an intelligent toddler son. He is very quiet and nice. He likes music a lot. He also likes the Mutter Museum, which is good because it's the best museum.

Liza, Groomswoman
Liza and Tyler have been friends since college.
Liza is a fine Quaker lady from East Tennessee who likes goats a lot because they're cool. She also enjoys things like feminism and fighting actual fires. She is pretty much Tyler's Sarah when it comes to gender theory and the such. She is very excited about Allison and Tyler's upcoming bees and chickens, perhaps more excited than Allison and Tyler. She's also really good at sparring.

Esther, Groomswoman
Esther and Tyler have been friends since college.
Esther is a very talented musician, and she comes by it honestly because her parents were both opera singers. She is a soprano and also plays the cello quite beautifully. She, like most good people, greatly dislikes Canon in D. She speaks German, and that's awesome.
Chad, Groomsman
Chad and Tyler have been friends since childhood.
I think I met Chad at Outback once, but I'm not sure. It could have been...
